Gold is an upcoming 2018 Indian Bollywood movie, a historical sports fictional drama story set on the backdrop of true incidents about India winning its first gold medal in field Hockey as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics.
Director Reema Kagti on the movie Gold: “It’s a fictional take on what happened. Also, it is not just the golden victory in the year 1948 we will be looking at, but it will encompass 12 crucial years in India’s history.”
